Things to do during the Holiday – Children’s Edition

Wondering what to do this holiday season? Here are 10 productive things you can do to fill your days:

  1. Reflecting on the term and year gone

Take out a sheet of paper and answer these three questions:

  • What did I do well in the past term?
  • What did I do well in the past term?
  • What will I do differently in the coming term?
  1. Setting process goals for the coming term

As a follow-up to point number 1.

You should set process goals for the coming term instead of performance goals, this is because process goals are far more effective.

What’s the difference between the two types of goals?

Process goals are what you intend to do, while performance goals are what you intend to achieve.

An example:

Performance goal: I will get an A for math next semester.

Process goal: I will do three extra math questions every day after dinner.
